This was a very special wedding for us at the Payne-Corley House. Even though they were booked for over a year, we only met Emily a few weeks before the wedding! Emily's parents came in and booked without her even seeing the venue and mom Cheri did most of the planning since Emily was out of town.
Emily's dad had endured some health issues leading up to the wedding so when he walked his daughter down the aisle and they did the father/daughter dance, I tell you, there was not a dry eye to be found...including myself and Tom, the photographer. Such a sweet moment to be a part of.
Emily's mom Cheri joked as she suddenly became "crafty" getting ready for the wedding. She made the seating chart, programs and put together the best props EVER for the photo booth. The guest book was quilting square that the guests wrote personal notes to and would later be put into a quilt for the couple to cherish.
